The René Moawad Foundation concluded the “Christmas Village 2018” celebrations, which adorned the heart of Zgharta with chants, anthems, and lights with a plethora of entertaining activities for the young and the old, bringing joy to the center of Zgharta Zawiya in the courtyard of St. John the Baptist Cathedral.

The third day of the festival witnessed a number of performances where Shape Up Academy showcased dance performances and a gymnastics show and the musical group Blackout performed unique and exclusive songs.

In addition, the “Hadi and Al-Shabiba” group performed a special concert in which a medley of the most beautiful songs was presented. The show was preceded by a cocktail party in the church courtyard at the invitation of MP Michel Moawad and his wife Marielle.

On the last day, the biggest share was dedicated to children who would sing, dance and have fun with their favorite “Ghenwa” who performed her new play “Le Petit Reve” in a festive ambiance that appealed to children’s hearts, followed by a musical performance by violinist Nagham Tabet.

It is to be noted that the Chrismtas village events stretched over four days, and included in addition to the various performances, stands that met all the festive needs ranging from food, decorative items, and Christmas products that contributed to boosting the city’s economy.
