The Resigned member of the Lebanese Parliament and President of the Independence Movement, Michel Moawad, Tweeted: “On International Anti-Corruption Day, we need an organized confrontation to liberate the state from the grip of the partnership between corruption and the militia, which was not satisfied with impoverishing the Lebanese and stealing their rights, but also kills them as well, and the Port of Beirut crime is a glaring example.” He added: “The battle against the ravaging corruption is difficult and long, but we will not despair, and we are determined to emerge victorious so that we can regain hope in a better future.”
