The German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) delivered Wednesday a two-day workshop at the Rene Moawad Foundation Center in Zgharta-Mejdlaya as part of an EU-funded project entitled “Towards Sustainable Energy Consumption in Select Local Communities of North Lebanon.”

The initiative aims to increase the capacity and ability of local communities to develop quality and sustainable future energy projects.

The project, which was developed by international experts in procurement, monitoring and evaluation, measurement and verification and energy management system, benefits the municipalities of Ardeh, Halba, Baaklin and Koura
