Independence Movement leader Michel Moawad has congratulated The Beirutis coalition on winning the municipal elections in Beirut and hailed Beirut Madinati’s platform as a beacon of hope.

“Congratulations to ‘The Beirutis’ list but I believe the Beirut Madinati’s platform is also worthy of praise and I hail the list as a beacon of hope,” Moawad said.
