Moawad: Tamer poised to become Brazil’s president while Lebanon remains without a head of state for second year

Independence Movement leader Michel Moawad drew parallels between Lebanon and Brazil where Brazilian vice president of Lebanese descent Michel Tamer is poised to become president.

“#Michel_Tamer is poised to become president of the world’s 5th largest country while his mother country #Lebanon remains without a president for the second year,” Moawad tweeted.

Temer would take Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff’s post if the senate approves to go forward with her impeachment through a simple majority.
