Independence Movement leader Michel Moawad said Monday that the agreement between former General Michel Aoun, head of the Reform and Change parliamentary bloc and Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea turns a black page of Christian history.

“Regardless of its dimension and the presidential election’s outcome, the agreement turns a black page of Christian history and bolsters the position of Christians in national partnership,” Moawad said in a tweet.
