Head of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad held talks Tuesday with George Bitar, the consul general of Lebanon in Australia.

The discussions, which touched on the needs of the Lebanese community, were attended by Henry Moawad, the head of the Diaspora Affairs department in the Independence Movement and Assaad Barakat, the movement’s representative in Sydney.

Later in the day, Moawad visit Dar al-Fatwa representative in Australia Sheikh Malek Zeidan and head of Saint Charbel Diocese Father Joseph Sleiman.
